FDM specific design, friction fit and no supports are the main characteristics of this Makita specific add-on. To increase the grip to the rail (not to the hose) two optional dove tails can be added ("inserts", no glue required). 

After some testing, it appeared that the design had to be reinforced. Therefore, the new version is continuously thicker creating a stronger part (MK3).
