This entry includes landmarks from three different Korean cities:
5Β·18 Memorial Tower - Gwangju κ΄μ£Ό
Hanbit Tower - Daejeon λμ
83 Tower - Daegu λꡬ
1) The May 18th National Cemetery in Gwangju commemorates and honors the dead of a democratic uprising that was violently repressed in 1980. The 40 m (131 ft) tower, built in 1997, is one of its distinct elements, with its two arms holding an ovoid.
2) The Hanbit Tower (Tower of Great Light, νλΉν) is an observatory located in the Expo Science Park in Daejeon. The 93 m (305 ft) was built for the 1993 Expo.
3) The Daegu 83 Tower is located in a Europe theme park inside Duryu Park. Completed in 1992, its shape has elements of traditional Korean pagodas. At 202 m (663 ft), it offers amazing views of the whole region.
