For anyone else with a Beetle they want to pull the doors off but haven't figured out how to mount mirrors.

This print uses the stock upper hinge mounts. My car is a 69, no idea what other years used the same hinge bolt pattern. 58-70 is a grouping I see regularly, but who knows, could be 46-2012 for all I know.

Also not sure about the original screws. I replaced all with hex drive (fhscs), original may have been phillips, but I think they were still a cone head for alignment.

File is for left side. Mirror in your slicer for the right side of the car.

File is set up for a 10mm mirror stalk with a jam nut 17mm across the flats. You'll need to change a couple dimensions and hole sizes if your mirror is different.

I recommend TPU, since they will be vibrating and bouncing around and you'll probably bump in to them.
