We have an automatic feeder for our cats that steps in whenever we’re not home at feeding time. But of course, we wanted our own feeder too — one that portions snacks for humans instead of cats.
SugarBot is a fun, self-service snack dispenser that lets you control your own treats with a turn of a knob. It’s perfect for keeping yourself motivated — and for keeping your colleagues happy in the office. A small turn, a sweet reward, and hopefully everyone’s in a better mood.
It’s currently designed for Skittles (sweet, colorful, lentil-shaped candies), but it should also works with similar solid candies and small snacks.
Stuff you need:
You need 4x longer and 4x shorter m3 screws and 8x m3 heated inserts (or you go with super glue?)
Printing:
I printed 02_Deckel, 05_Spindel, 06_Propeller with flex filament (TPU for AMS) and all other parts with PETG or PLA.
Assembly:
Use filament that is as food-safe as possible, and make sure to keep the dispenser clean during use.
