This model is intended as a test and development model for a modular articulated joint system inspired by a centipede / millipede.
It consists of individual parts that are printed separately and then assembled into one flexible structure. Thanks to its modular design, it can be infinitely long, endlessly customizable, and scaled up or down to different sizes as needed.
The joint system uses 8 mm ball joints, providing smooth and flexible movement of each segment. The model is ideal for testing joint mechanics, print tolerances, and different sizes and configurations.
