Just in case you're tired of printing useful things, here's something slightly pointless. A nozzle for the Wolfbox MF100 blower (as seen on Project Farm youtube channel; video1 and video2 - and others!) that replaces the mouthpiece for the Train Whistle toy.
This was inspired by the Wolfbox MF200 Whistle by Filamentalist, and I tried to list it as a source for the remix, but the licenses conflicted so I couldn't do that. No part of that design was used, but I thought it was really funny and once I found that I couldn't print my own, I created this thing.
Print the mouthpiece - then go over to the Train Whistle toy and print out the four whistles. You can print the bit that holds them all together, or just do as I did and be lazy and wrap them in electrical tape. Then attach this nozzle to your MF100, push in the whistles, and let 'er rip. On the lowest setting you can hear the fan get a little overloaded by the backpressure, but on the highest setting - be warned, it's pretty loud! Not hearing damaging loud, but very noticable. Would be good as a noisemaker at sporting events, although the blower is a bit slow to start and stop.
Prints with no supports - although there is very minimal bed contact so I suggest adding a substantial brim. I did forget in one prototype print and managed to get the whole thing to print without the brim on a clean print bed, so it's possible, but probably safer to add the brim just to be safe. I did an internal brim as that was easier to clean up with my deburring tool. An external brim can be tougher to clean up.
Beyond the recommendation for the brim, print however you feel. I printed in PLA at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle, no supports. I probably did 3 shells and default infill, but I don't think that's critical.
The author remixed this model.
Mouthpiece remixed from the Train Whistle, otherwise use the rest of the parts from that one.
