Imperial Armor Jinshi Pauldrons, Belt, and Sword - Apothecary Diaries (Minoji Kurata version) - FDM only

Dragons are NOT included! I sculpted mine ( it is why they look more like cows than dragons but que será, será) from air dry foam clay and aluminum foil.  

The pauldrons are printed flat. They get their curvature by heating them through (heat gun, hair dryer, low temperature oven) and carefully bending them around something cylindrical. The two pieces are attached with a strap glued together with 2-part epoxy. The piece is connected to the tunic with Velcro and another strap. 

The vambraces are printed flat. They get their curvature by heating them through (heat gun, hair dryer, low temperature oven) and carefully bending them around something cylindrical. 1" Pleather straps were sewn into the slots to keep the vambraces around the arm.

The sword is assembled in pieces. Buy 6mm x 50mm wooden dowel alignment pins (off of Amazon) or print six of the included alignment pin model, horizontally for the most strength. 

The mouth of the belt fits a 1.5inch piece of leather/pleather.

Yes, I played fast and loose with paint colors, but I achieved my goal of NOT looking like Zurg (aka his anime armor) so I count that as a win.
