This is a secure mounting solution for the Powerowl Smart Battery Charger (Model FY-828) on the IKEA Skadis pegboard system.
Chargers often clutter up benchtops, so I designed this mount to get your batteries up on the wall and out of the way while they charge.
Two Versions Available I have included two distinct versions to fit your specific workspace setup:
Vertical Mount: The charger slides in from the top. Best for saving horizontal wall space.
Horizontal Mount: The charger slides in from the side. Ideal if you have limited vertical clearance or prefer a landscape orientation.
Features
Solid 3-Prong Connector: Utilizes a reinforced 3-prong hook design. This provides superior stability compared to standard 2-hook mounts, ensuring the charger doesn't wobble or detach when you are inserting or removing batteries.
Perfect Fit: Custom friction fit for the Powerowl FY-828 8-bay charger.
Cable Management: Open design allows for easy routing of the USB power cable.
Print Settings
Material: PLA, PLA+, or PETG.
Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls recommended to ensure the hooks are strong.
Infill: 15-20% (Grid or Gyroid).
Supports: Required for the Skadis hooks on the back. "Touching Buildplate Only" works best.
Orientation: Print flat on the back (hooks facing up) if your support settings are dialed in, or upright depending on your printer's bridging capability. [Note: Usually upright with tree supports is safest for Skadis hooks, but adjust based on your preference].
Installation Select the version that fits your space (Vertical or Horizontal). Insert the 3-prong mount into the Skadis board—it will be a snug fit to prevent movement. Slide your Powerowl charger into the holder.
