This is a replacement for a gear that often fails in the Bosch MUZ4GM flour mill.
I recommend slicing with two perimeters and 100% rectilinear infill. While in general it is more effective from a strength perspective to slice with more perimeters, the left slicing solution leads to separation between the inner perimeters and the gear teeth under load in this application.
Press the gear onto the shaft with the ring facing the bearing so that the end of the shaft protrudes about 1.5-2mm as pictured.
Lubricate the gear, ideally with a PTFE grease.
It won't last forever, but probably at least as long as the original. This implement is just a bad design / badly cost optimised.
Happy printing.
