The model depicted is one of the six preserved locomotives of the 22 made in 1961-62 for the East Coast Mainline of British Railways. It was printed on a Core One with a 0.4 nozzle, layer height of 0.2mm and 15% infill. The colours used are blue, matte black, yellow, silver grey, white and red.
The centre and cab sections were printed vertically with supports. The chassis and wheels, all the vents, dowels, buffers and hook plate were printed in matte black without supports.
The small centre side vents start in matte black with a colour change to silver grey at layer 10 - 2mm. The cab inside starts in blue with a colour change to matte black at layer 21 - 4.2mm. The number plate starts in blue with a colour change to white at layer 5 - 1.0mm. The name plate starts in red with a colour change to silver grey at layer 5 - 1.0mm.
Construction is shown by the pictures of the model and superglue is used throughout, although many of the vents will just snap into place.
