These wheels are designed to fit the "economy" or "low cost" plastic gear motors and is aimed at Mini-Sumo and small robots with rubber band tyres.
This remix is aimed at the #84 bands and is 70mm diameter to give clearance on a battery box mounted below the gearbox.
This wheel was designed on Creo Elements, and printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal using Repetier Host with Slicer.
These wheels are sized to fit #84 rubbers bands with a 10% stretch but multiple narrower bands could be used.
It's pictured with a couple of bands overlaid to make up the diameter until we modify our chassis.
The Printrbot equipment was made available by Tanghall Smart Tech Club in York, England.
