24V-5V Converter Enclosure for Mounting on Original Prusa Enclosure

This is an enclosure for a 24VDC to 5VDC converter that can be mounted on the back of the Prusa MK4 Enclosure. The converter is connected to the printer's PSU to get 24V. This can be used to power other modifications and accessories by connecting to the screw terminals or the 3 USB-C ports on the top.

Heat set threaded inserts are installed on the 4 posts inside the enclosure Body, the 4 mounting points on the Lid, and the two mounting points.

Mounting the enclosure can be slightly tricky. The PSU will need to be unmounted by doing the steps to install the PSU in reverse. This is so you can put your arm through that hole to install two M3x10mm screws if you are mountingthe case on the outside. The two mounting holes have threaded inserts so a nut does not need to be used. The converter can also be mounted on the inside of the enclosure using those same holes. 

You will need the following:

• 6      M3x10mm Screws (for the lid and mounting the enclosure)

• 4      M3x6mm Screws (for mounting the converter inside)

• 10    M3 Heat Set Threaded Inserts

• 1       24V to 5V Converter

• 3      5V USB-C Panel Mount Connectors
