Bag holder and lid

Paper Bag Support & Odor-Reducing Lid for Kitchen Food Waste Bin

In my area, food waste must be collected in paper bags. Unfortunately, these bags tend to collapse inside the kitchen bucket, making them inconvenient to use and prone to mess.

To solve this, I designed a simple two-part solution:

1. Bag Holder
This part acts as a rigid support that keeps the paper bag upright and prevents it from collapsing during use.

2. Lid
The lid fits onto the bag holder with a small tolerance for easy placement and removal. It helps reduce odors, especially when disposing of smelly food waste.

⚠ Important Note:
The bucket this design fits into was purchased from a local kitchen store in my area. Because of this, the model is mainly intended as inspiration or a starting point rather than a universal fit.

Files Included

I’ve included three files:

• 2 STL files (the exact parts as I printed them)

• 1 Fusion 360 file, so you can easily adjust dimensions if you want to adapt this design for your own container
