Surrey Smart R32 Portable AC Dual Hose Adapter – No Drilling

Este modelo es un adaptador Doble Manguera diseñado para el aire acondicionado portátil Surrey Smart R32, modelo 551PXQ12N81F, y también es compatible con el aire portátil Midea Smart R-32, modelo MPXH-12-N81F.

Permite convertir el equipo de una sola manguera a doble manguera sin realizar modificaciones permanentes. La instalación es simple: se retiran los dos tornillos originales de la parte trasera, se coloca el adaptador y se vuelven a colocar los mismos tornillos. No requiere perforar ni cortar ninguna parte del equipo.

El diseño mantiene la rejilla o filtro antipolvo original del aire acondicionado, permitiendo que continúe instalada y funcionando normalmente luego de la conversión.

El adaptador está pensado para imprimirse en cuatro piezas: cuerpo superior, cuerpo inferior, tapa superior y tapa inferior. Luego de la impresión, las piezas deben unirse mediante soldadura plástica con cautín o utilizando un adhesivo adecuado.

Está diseñado para utilizar una manguera flexible de 5 pulgadas, aunque también puede emplearse una manguera flexible de 6 pulgadas sin inconvenientes. No se recomienda el uso de ductos plásticos rígidos.

Se incluye el archivo original de Fusion 360 para que cualquiera pueda hacer un remix, mejorar o adaptar el diseño. La colaboración y los aportes son bienvenidos, ya que este es mi primer prototipo funcional.

This model is a dual hose adapter designed for the Surrey Smart R32 portable air conditioner, model 551PXQ12N81F, and is also compatible with the Midea Smart R-32 portable air conditioner, model MPXH-12-N81F.

It allows converting the unit from single hose to dual hose operation without any permanent modification. Installation is straightforward: remove the two original rear screws, place the adapter, and reinstall the same screws. No drilling, cutting, or irreversible changes are required.

The design preserves the original dust intake grille/filter of the air conditioner, allowing it to remain installed and functional after the conversion.

The adapter is designed to be printed in four separate parts: upper body, lower body, top cover, and bottom cover. After printing, the parts must be joined together, either by plastic welding using a soldering iron or by gluing with a suitable adhesive.

It is intended for a 5-inch flexible hose, but a 6-inch flexible plastic hose can also be used without issues. Rigid plastic ducting is not recommended.

The original Fusion 360 file is included so anyone can remix, improve, or adapt the design. Collaboration and feedback are welcome, as this is my first functional prototype.
