Xshot Piston Pump battery bay expander

This was made because what I wanted did not exist, at least, not in the format I wanted. As far as I can tell, this is the only battery bay expander that really tries to match the complex curvature of the back of the Xshot piston pump stock. Oh, and did I mention that it uses the stock latching mechanism?

To print: import the .step file and minimize the mesh generation sliders. I have found that this creates the most accurate part in the end as it minimizes the amount of features lost in translation rather than exporting an .stl from CAD and using that.

Parts required: 

• the battery bay expander

• latch mechanism from the Xshot

• latch mechanism cover

• the two screws that secure the cover

To build:

• insert latch/spring as shown in the third photo

• install cover and screw as shown in the fourth photo

• Done!
