Adapter for 75 mm PE sewer pipe for the Parkside leaf blower with small debris attachment

Instructions:

The adapter:

1. Print the adapter file; it contains the adapter and two parts to fix it on the top part of the leaf blower vacuum tube. They are already oriented correctly. Any material and layer height will do; no supports are needed. I used a 0.2 mm layer height.

2. Cut the right length of the 75 mm PE sewer pipe. Do a 45° cut on one end so you can get closer to the ground. Lightly sand the outside of the pipe on the other side about 50 mm from the end. Degrease the sanded part of the pipe.

3. Apply silicone on the inside of the adapter part and the sanded part of the pipe. Join the two parts, rotating them a bit so the silicone spreads well. Rotate the adapter so the protruding part points horizontally to the right when the tube is pointed with the angled part downward.

4. Leave it at least 12 hours to cure.

5. Insert the adapter into the top part of the vacuum tube. Place the fixing parts in the holes in the top part of the tube and screw them on using 2 or 4 3.6×16 wood screws for sheet metal (lens-shaped head) each.

The attachment:

If you frequently vacuum smaller and heavier things like metal shavings, etc., the attachment will be useful: it increases the velocity of air so it carries particles better.

1. Print the part as oriented. Any material and layer height will do, but you will probably save time with larger layer height. If it looks bad, add some supports under the fillet on the bottom, but no other supports are needed.

2. Slide it on the tube and fix it using a binder clip.

3. Pose as the guitar player in the Mad Max 2 movie.
