Drunken Helm Balance Board Game

This is my take on the Balance Games flash contest!

Play time: 2 minutes (one round)

Player count: 2 players

Besides printed parts, you will also need:

• 8 pieces of 5 (diameter) x 3 (height) mm round neodymium magnets (For example https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005009995624789.html)

• 1 piece of 6 (inner diameter) x 15 (outer diameter) x 5 (height) mm bearings (For example https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005005167956088.html)

You don't even need glue! Just insert them into plastic!

 The rules of Drunken Helm © (also attached as a printable PDF):

• Older player gets to be the captain first

• The goal of the captain is to win

• The goal of the other player (first mate) is to win or draw

• Captain starts the game

• Players place barels on the helm one at a time

• When the helm is full - game ends and the lowest piece wins

• If you draw and there are 2 pieces of different colour at the bottom of the helm - first mate wins

• First mate takes over, now they’re the captain, play again!

All the models are colored already and optimized to be printed at 0.2 mm layer height. Basically all you need to do is open the model and click print!

If you do not have a multi-color printer - don't worry! There is no need for multiple colors at one layer, as long as you slice it at 0.2 mm layer height, you can figure out where to insert pauses and change color, even on a single color printer!
