The IKEA BILRESA two-button remotes are a very inexpensive way to add a programmable wireless switch to a smart home setup, including HomeKit. They are a fraction of the cost of, say, a Lutron Caseta Pico Remote, and easier to integrate into a generic HomeKit environment. But they don't look like a normal wall switch and they're kind of thick and bulky.
This model takes the PCB from the BILRESA and uses it with a decora-style paddle switch face to make a single-gang switch.
I wouldn't put this into the same box as 120VAC devices, unless maybe it was printed in a UL94 V-0 fire-resistant material. It also may not be up to code to do so. But you do you—at your own risk.
If you're not looking to place these in-wall, here's an alternate mounting frame that works with Wyza's screwless faceplates.
When you take the PCB out of the BILRESA, there's nothing on the PCB that indicates what its Matter setup code is. It's probably a good idea to at least mark the 11-digit manual code on the back of the PCB (which is otherwise totally blank), to be able to use that or match it up with the Matter QR codes on the BILRESA case or manual.
Make sure batteries are oriented properly. There are + marks in each battery well.
The Mounting Frame, Toggle Paddle, and Paddle Frame are symmetric, so there's no specific up or down.
The Toggle Paddle prints on edge for a smooth front surface. It may need mouse ears or a full brim to ensure that the ends don't lift during printing, though I've printed them mostly successfully as is. Printing with at least 3 wall loops will make the LED glow-through more even. Printing with wall order "outer-inner" seems to yield a better surface finish.
All parts are designed to print without supports, in the provided orientations.
Taking apart the BILRESA might void your warranty or burn down your house or something, so you're doing that (and everything else described here) at your own risk.
