Display Stand for Lego DeLorean - (LEGO Speed Champions #77256 "Time Machine from Back to the Future")

A sleek, minimalist 3D printed display stand for the LEGO® Speed Champions DeLorean. This stand is easy to print and will look great on your shelf!

I printed my stand using default print settings with a few modifications. Since the bottom of the stand has an indentation for a felt base, you'll need to enable supports. I used default autogenerated snug supports and they were very easy to remove after printing using some needle-nose pliers. If your slicer generates any supports other than the puck of support material needed to fill the cavity in the base of the stand, feel free to delete these supports using the paint-on supports brush or support blockers, as they shouldn't be necessary. The only other modification I made was enabling fuzzy skin, and shifting the fuzzy skin thickness and point distance values to 0.2 mm, but this is totally optional. I also set the seam position to rear.

I was able to find adhesive-backed felt pads perfectly sized for this stand. You can find them on Amazon here, but if you'd like to buy them elsewhere, they should be 2.5" in diameter and 3 mm thick. They were super easy to adhere and give the stand a nice finished look.

I've also added a version of the stand with no indentation in the bottom for those that don't plan on adding the felt base. If you print this version, you won't need to use any support material at all.
