This is basic “gun” to force stuff out a various shaped nozzle. Meant to replace an icing bag that can't handle much pressure. You can use it for food (potato/any kind of similar food, playdough, cement, mud, plaster.
Was fiddling with previous design and struggling to get enough press when realised would be a whole lot easier to adapt a cheap silicon gun. Most people probably have something similar lying around that that used once for a DIY project. If not they can be purchased for as little as $2 from your hardware store.
I had two versions of these ‘cheap’ guns. One you could bend the rails out of the way to fit a 600ml PET bottle but this was quite hard. The other version seemed to offer a better bolt on solution.
I removed the silicon holder with a hacksaw, filing the rough edges off. The 3d print then bolts on with 4mm x 30mm nuts and bolts. Thats pretty much it.
There are probably many other types of gun that a similar system can be adapted to but hopes this inspires others.
