Scuba tank dust cap (DIN)

A handy dust cap for protecting the DIN outlet of your scuba tank from dust and moisture. Can be attached to a string to prevent loss.

You may use different colors (red/green) to indicate empty and filled tanks or different gases (e.g. Nitrox).

Note: All tank caps I printed with PLA for my local scuba group survived a week-long dive trip in Egypt without any problems, breaks or discolorations. Maybe PETG or other materials are even better suited for harsh UV-radiation and saltwater.

• Resolution: 0.1mm

• Infill: 25% or higher

• Perimeters: 4 or more

Instructions

• Print scuba tank dust cap

• Cut paracord string to rough length

• Seal ends with your lighter

• Thread string through hole in dust cap

• Tie a knot
