I was looking around for a lidded case for my SKR Mini E3V3 and just didn't see one that met my needs, so I put this together. There is nothing special about it, but it gets the job done. A few details:
The base/box has raised mounts for M3 bolts. No inserts required, just screw them into the plastic.
There are four holes on the underside of the box for mounting on whatever surface you choose. Again, those are M3 in size.
The lid is press-fit, so depending on how tuned your printer is you might need to tweak the size. On my Flashforge there is just enough friction for the lid to sit comfortably at a 90 degree angle with no issues.
The lid allows for a 60mm fan to help cool the built in 2209 drivers on the SKR. The SKR probably doesn't NEED a fan that badly, but keeping everything cooler is never a bad idea.
There are cutouts a bit larger than needed for stepper wires, power, fans, USB, micro SD, etc. that help with airflow: air is sucked in through the lid and blows out through the cutouts without extra vents.
Feel free to use as-is or download and tweak the heck out of my design. It's pretty basic, but if you are better at CAD than I am (and most people are) go nuts and make it your own.
