Still Based on the Replacement front knuckle for WLTOYS RC 144001 RC car knuckles designed by @CloudWalker4S_968852.
Compatible with the WLTOYS 144001, 144010, 124007 (tested on this), 124016, 124017, 124018, 124019 RC cars.
This iteration has even more additional material added with extruded profiles for additional strength and stiffness. Light scrubbing was detected by the tie rod on the stock rims due to the mount, but remedied in my case with the upgraded tires and rims. You will have to harvest the stock tierod end ball and sockets and seat them into the knukle.
Developed after the stock knuckles crumpled on impact, this is much stronger despite being 3d printed. Field tested aggressively and shamelessly in tall grass and uneven terrain, 120 mm of snow, impacts on concrete steps (front end impact at 30 kmph), drop impact from staircase, and other socially intolerable abuses.
From testing, no interference was detected on the larger rims, slight scrubbing of the tierod ends on the smaller rim (rectified with inserting the socket ends correctly).
For max strength, print standing up with the largest layer height possible, and supports for the steering linkage and upper knuckle joint and Hub. Increase the number of perimeters, this significantly increases strength compared to infill. Some suggestions included increasing the chamber temperature for better bonding but comes at the risk of distortion and geometrical deviations.
