Since those batteries are larger they don't fit the lamp out of the box

Description
PDFThis ring is used for 10440 batteries with protection circuitry which extend the maximum size of 44 mm stated by Olight.
You might lose waterproofing capabilities of the light.
I have personally used a Trustfire 10440, protected Li-Ion cell.
