If you like my models and that I make random minis for people then come follow and support me on Patreon https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon?site=printables&model=demodragon1&cta=header - where you can ask me to make minis for you, get updates on my projects like gmbuddy.com and get access to exclusive minis for my Patrons.

This is a big bad boss from the Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club intro set. I couldn't find a version of this online so I spent some time today to make one. This is a Huge creature so it's on a 75mm baseplate.

This was a really ambitious model and honestly I was kinda dreading it because of how high the stakes were. I was worried I would mess this up and that it would take days to realize how badly I messed up. That said - I think this Demodragon turned out pretty good.

I started with an AI base mesh on this and then sculpted, posed and print optimized it. For my process as usual I recorded my work on this model - the video is about 4hrs long but a fair amount of that was creating the initial basic dragon and then I was able to re-use my Demogorgon head parts to create the main head of this guy so it was really just posing and sculpting and other tweaks. Once the video is done processing it'll be available here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/vod-demodragon?site=printables&model=demodragon1&cta=vod

If you'd like the Basic Dragon model it's free (for now) over on my Patreon. This might become an exclusive to paid members at a later date so if you are interested in this dragon mini or you like the demodragon then hop on over, follow me and then you can download the model here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/pe-demodragon?site=printables&model=demodragon1&cta=teaser

For FDM printing - I recommend printing it without the baseplate so that you don't have a frustrating time removed supports. There are some spines on the wings that might pop off if you're not careful when removing supports. I'm doing my test print at a -180 degree rotation on the x axis which has most of those spines pointing up. I will add the 3mf file here if that works (or if I find another one that works better I'll add that).

For Resin printing again - I have the baseplate version here but I recommend printing baseplates separately. They come out nicer when printing on their own and it makes support cleanup + painting easier! I would recommend rotating back -90 degrees on the x axis then use medium auto supports. This fits on my print bed but if you would like this split into separate parts then leave a comment below and I can slice this up for you.

I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next - I'm actively asking my Patrons what kind of models that they want to see. You can follow along with me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or join in on the discuss on Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon?site=printables&model=demodragon1&cta=footer (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d). If you have something that you need or a custom model like this that you want then let me know and let's make it!
