Just a note that these also work on the new Mercedes model, despite the bigger rim size, they look great. I printed another set and will post some pics when I get a chance.

Brilliant model that improves the look of the wheels massively. Great thinking using the existing Lego structure to mount the wheel covers. I went with a fully grey centre locking nut for a bit more contrast. (edited)

I modified the design a tad bit so that no glue is required, while also eliminating the backplate. The center nut I designed has the cut out for the cross axle so that it just snaps together like other Lego pieces. Printed, filled, and airbrushed black with a gloss topcoat. Created my own tire stickers to finish off the look.
