Dual-side door lock handle adapter (flush mount)

This model may not be universal, but it could be useful to others. I needed to make a door operable from both sides, even though the original lock was not designed for that. To solve this, I designed this simple part.

The main challenge was that the mechanism had to remain flush with the door, as it is a sliding component.

I printed it using Prusament Galaxy Silver with a 0.2 mm layer height. The part can be printed in either orientation (as provided in the file or upside down). When printed upside down, the small side handles may look better due to reduced overhangs, but this orientation requires supports for the central section, which are not needed in the original orientation.
