This is a remix of the V5.8 accelerator pedal by Lebois to make a clutch with an adjustable regressive (over-cam) feel to allow an adjustable bite point. The base is the hall sensor version from one of my other remixes and this one has a notch to sit under the position adjustment screw that allows mounting a leaf switch to activate the servo clutch lock option of the gear grind mod for the SRT gearbox.
For the clutch, you will need a 6mm rose head bearing and a M6 x50mm bolt for going through the sidewall along with the spacers for the rosehead. 2 M4x20mm bolts are used for the tipper along with 2 4x12x4 bearings. The preload part goes inside the spring and is this is inserted inside the tipper part. A M6x20mm bolt can be inserted into the preload and this screws into the rosehead. By adjusting how much this is screwed in, you can adjust the pre-tension on the spring for a different feel. Different tipper fulcrum mounting options allow for different bite points.
Heavy Load Duty Compression Die Spring ISO - 10-50mm Diameter & Up To 102mm Long
Type - Blue OD20mm, ID 10mm, Length 76mm
The rosehead spacers are to keep the rosehead bearing central. The tipper is adjustable for different bite points and there is a preload adjustment also.
Originally I designed this to allow the cable clamp plate to hold a bicycle cable threaded through the side to control the SRT gearbox lock but I couldn't get it working very well so changed it to being switch and servo activated instead. No need to print the clamp plate unless you are using a bicycle cable for the gearbox locking mechanism.
If you are using a potentiometer rather than hall sensor and aren't using the gearbox gear grind mod, just use the original base for the SRT accelerator v.5.8
