Garden hose (gardena) to PET bottle adapter

I created this adapter for the PET-Bottle contest. Mainly I want to build a lawn sprinkler system later this year … but yeah due to contest I did it now. As I build that I realized, that this idea had other applications too.

lawn sprinkler:

• poke holes left right from the bottle (use a 3mm drill)
• connect to garden hose via this adapter
• lay the bottle in your lawn, switch on the water and adjust orientation

garden shower:

• poke holes in the bottom of the bottle
• connect to garden hose via this adapter
• throw bottle over branch or what ever switch on water and have a shower

microdrip plant watering 

• poke some tiny holes in the bottle where it is useful for your application
• connect to garden hose via this adapter
• put between your plants

Print instructions

• use PETg
• Set seam position to random, to avoid leaks through
• Use lots of infill and at least 3 perimeters to make it water tight
• use painton support, to support the edges of the inner hole

Additional you need a rubber ring (e.g. from a male hose connector) as seal. You have to put it on the garden hose connector.
