Guitar Lava Me Air Nut for Thick Fingers

Hi group, I ordered guitar Lava Me Air because I love new technology and wanted a light, comfortable guitar for playing at home and during travel.

It’s great, light, amazing, and innovative… but not for my thick fingers ☹. I checked YouTube and some reviews, and designed this new nut with the same width of 42.7 mm but for us “thick-fingered” guys. It makes the string spacing much wider.

Original E – E spacing is 33.4 mm => now it’s 37 mm E – E.  I can’t go wider because of the neck width limit. I set the string action lower too. Borders between E strins are 3 mm in both sizes of the neck.

Playability with my thick fingers and the new nut is awesome! You just need to sand the nut a bit so it fits into the carbon neck. Replacing the original nut is easy because it’s not glued in.

Print using PLA filament, with 100% infill, oriented horizontally.
