Short Description

A mounting bracket for the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 designed for the ASUS XG27AQDMG monitor (and similar models). It positions the eye tracker perfectly centered on the monitor for a clean and flush fit.

• No additional print setting changes were made

Mounting & Assembly

1. Attach the metal strip included with the Tobii Eye Tracker to the printed mount using the side grooves for alignment.

2. Apply double-sided foam adhesive to the back of the printed part.

   • I used 3M VHB acrylic foam adhesive pads (I cut up a spare GoPro adhesive pad)

   • Alternatives can be found online by searching for:
     “3M VHB double-sided adhesive pads, acrylic foam adhesive pads”

3. Stick the adhesive to the printed part first.

4. Carefully center the mount on the monitor and press it into place.

Important:
Foam adhesives need time to fully set. I recommend waiting 24 hours before attaching the eye tracker. After this curing time, the mount held securely for me.

I also tried standard double-sided tape without foam, but it did not hold longer than a week.

• No permanent modification to the monitor

• Uses the original Tobii metal strip

• Easy to reach monitor controls
