I printed BuildX's excellent Rock Band 2 bass pedal to replace my broken pedal without realizing I actually had the Rock Band 1 drum set. The appearance of both look to be identical, but once I printed it out, I realized there were a few minor differences. I ended up modifying the parts on mine to make it work, but with this remix, you shouldn't need to do this.
Note that I have NOT printed this to confirm it does work perfectly with the Rock Band 1 pedal parts. Since I had already modified mine to work with the original design, I can't really verify everything is correct. However, these modifications were based off measurements from the original, broken pedal, so they should be correct.
I made the following changes:
Shortened the width of the pedal where the hinge pin goes through on the base.
Enlarged the hinge pin hole for the RB1 pin size (approx 5mm).
Added slots for the orange marking insert.
Slightly enlarged the four screw holes for the orange bracket piece.
Removed the center pins on the two rubber bumper cavities and replaced them with recesses for the pins on the RB1 bumpers.
Moved the magnet mounting point further up to match the RB1 pedal.
I was unable to remove the original magnet from my broken pedal so I had to replace it with a new 10mm neodymium magnet that seems to work fine. I would imagine a smaller magnet would also work here, but YMMV.
If you print this and it works without needing modification on your Rock Band 1 drum set, please leave a comment to confirm.
