Description:
This is a custom 3D-printed faceplate/adapter designed to let you use a standard RJ45 keystone jack (Cat6 or similar) with Anchor by Panasonic Roma Plus modular switch plates.
The official Anchor Roma Plus Cat6 RJ45 computer socket (1-module) is great, but it's expensive and sometimes hard to find. This model allows you to snap in any generic RJ45 keystone module (the common blue punch-down type) and mount it seamlessly into a standard Roma Plus modular grid/frame.
Perfect fit for Roma Plus 1-module slots (snaps in with the same clips as original modules)
Angled or straight entry depending on your print orientation/preference
Holds standard keystone RJ45 jacks securely (no wobble)
Great for home networking upgrades, custom switchboards, or repairs where you want to use cheaper/bulk keystone jacks
Printed in PLA or PETG for durability
I wanted a cost-effective way to add Ethernet ports to my Roma Plus modular wall plates without buying the official (pricey) Anchor sockets every time. This adapter makes it easy to use readily available standard RJ45 keystones.
Layer height: 0.2mm or finer for clean clips
Infill: 20-30% is plenty
No supports needed if printed face-down (front facing bed)
Material: PLA works fine, PETG for extra strength
(Although I use PC filament)
Test fit with your specific keystone jack – most standard ones fit perfectly
##Please make sure your tolerance is adjusted properly as the model is made using tight tolerances.
Punch down your Cat6 cable into a standard RJ45 keystone jack.
Snap the keystone into the printed adapter.
Insert the whole assembly into your Roma Plus modular plate/frame like any other module.
Feel free to remix or improve it! If you print this, I'd love to see your makes.
