Battery Holder for 21700 batteries equipped with safety circuits. The Battery in the picture has length x diameter 75x22 mm. The design is for Keystone 1107-1 soldering contacts. The battery snaps in the holder and can be pried out again carefully with a screwdriver.
The Keystone 1107-1 should be inserted 5.5 mm from the top of the print (see the picture with the caliper where this distance is measured).
Please clean the small slot (8.5x1mm) for the metalcontact, e.g. to remove strings, to avoid any stucking and bending when inserting the soldering contact.
On one side is a simple cablemanagement for up to 1.5mm² cables.
The holes are designed for M3 (diameter 3.5mm). The holes are exaktly 100 mm from center to center. The whole print is 110 mm long and 31 mm wide.
Do not use nozzles bigger than 0.4, Layer 0.2 (Quality) to print the slot for the soldering contacts exaktly. 50% infill is recomended.
The part in the pictures is printed and tested with Nobufil PCTG, colour stainless steel, and a MK3S. I dont know if it works with PLA - it should!
Check out also my 18650 battery holder. 21700 is my favourite battery size (+50% capacity, just a bit taller). See the picture to compare 18650 and 21700 size.
Overengineered in Austria. Tested under harsh conditions in the alps.
Keep on printing!
