Fox V1 Action Cam Chin Mount (Long)

This is a modification of my chin mount design for the Fox V1 helmet. I wanted to support action cameras like the DJI Osmo Action 5 and DJI Osmo 360 that only mount from the bottom. This design extends the pivot out away from the helmet for maximum flexibility in camera angle choice. It's also much stronger and can support cameras like the Osmo 360 extended out and away from the helmet.

Installation

Attach to your helmet with 3M VHB double sided foam tape or similar.

Print Settings

• 95A TPU Filament. I use SainSmart

• Use 20% cubic infill

• Modify the infill where the camera connects to be 100% (see the screenshot below)

• Organic supports needed for the overhang only (see support blocker in the screenshot)
