Using this magnetic enclosure is an easy way to mount your Raspberry Pi Zero (2 W) to ferromagnetic surfaces like the Prusa CORE One 3D printer.

I designed it to be used with the front of the passive cooling enclosure that can be ordered from China.
However, I added a 3D-printable front as well. Tell me if it works well for you if you use it!

You can use the screws that come with the passive cooling enclosure or M2.2 × ~10 mm ones for the printed front.
The original design is for two 10 × 5 mm magnets.

Feel free to comment other magnet sizes and I will add the adapted model. You can also use the FreeCAD design file to customize it yourself.

If you like this design, please consider leaving a ♥heart. Thanks!

Note:
Moving (printed) parts on the surface of the printer can cause minor scratches.
You can avoid that by adding thin pads or possibly by using flexible TPU instead of PETG filament!

Printing:

  • Filament material: PETG

  • Resolution: 0.20 mm

  • Infill: 15 % Grid

  • Supports: No
