A rugged case for the 2UUL DA85 CVT Pro grinder pen with accessories, including magnetic sockets for grinding bits. It holds:
The grinder pen, secured in place with two flexible clips and an additional bracket that presses on it when the case is closed.
Up to 8 grinding bits in easily accessible magnetic holders, with plenty of space for larger-diameter milling or grinding heads.
The plastic container for extra bits that comes with the grinder pen.
Bill of Materials:
(x1) Case
(x1) Lid
(x2) Latch
(x1, optional) Sealing gasket
(x6) M3×30 mm bolts (I recommend ISO7380 bolts with compact, rounded heads)
(x8) ø3×1.8 mm magnets
Assembly:
Glue the magnets in place with a small amount of adhesive. If they don’t fit, use a drill no larger than 3.5 mm to adjust the slots. Then assemble the case with M3 bolts.
3D Printing Instructions:
I recommend printing the case in good-quality PETG to ensure the clips and latches remain durable over time. The print requires high dimensional accuracy and may need post-processing to ensure all pieces fit correctly. Perform any necessary adjustments before gluing in the magnets.
Note: This model is a remix of the excellent project “FreeCAD Rugged Box (Parametric)” uploaded by sei.
If the provided storage is not enough for you then feel free to make a remix and add more in the lid, there is plenty of space left in there ;)

The box is configured to fit the 2UUL DA85 CVT Pro grinder pen with accessories.
