This model is designed to be print-in-place friendly or easy-assembly, depending on your tolerances. For the best results, follow these specs:
Material: PLA or PETG (Silk PLA looks amazing for the bearing balls!).
Layer Height: 0.15mm or 0.2mm (Lower is better for smooth internal races).
Infill: 20–30% (Gyroid recommended for a nice internal weight balance).
Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls for extra durability on the gear teeth.
Supports: None! This model is engineered to be 100% Support-Free.
Don't worry if your spinner feels a little stiff right off the build plate! Because of the tight mechanical tolerances required for a smooth spin, this model requires a bit of "play time" to reach peak performance. * The more you spin it, the better it gets. Over the first hour of use, the internal surfaces will naturally polish each other down.
As you break it in, you’ll feel the friction vanish and the spin times increase significantly.
