Some people with diverse life situations - neurodivergence, anxiety, chronic pain, etc. - appear to find relief through "stimming." This can be compared to fidget relief or massage relief: it often involves manipulating some sensory toy to stimulate tactile nerves as a distraction from the problem or a disruption of the problem.

A family member asked if I could print one as a fidget for nervousness. A quick search on Printables didn't turn up a lot of stim toy models (possibly I wasn't searching with the right terms?), so I made my own "ouchie." It's pretty spiky and definitely stimulates a mild pain response when gripped in the palm or squeezed between fingers and thumb. On my printer, at least, it didn't print sharp enough to actually leave lasting marks or break the skin. Your mileage may vary - print and use with caution.

By downloading and printing, you assume responsibility for all risks associated with use/misuse of the final printed object. (Don't step on it!)

I printed the photo example with PETG, but it might be interesting to try this with TPU as well. No supports were needed. I did add a 5mm brim, but this may not have been necessary.
