v2.0 is here!
As an update to the Dummy 13 Spec Ops/SWAT operator helmet, I present the second iteration with some sweet details to enjoy. It's got rear mounted ear pro, a top mounted strobe, rail light, camera, and a battery pack on the back to power your Night Vision goggles (and counterweight). Speaking of which, this helmet set will still work with my Quad Tube NVG's and Drone Goggles so fret not!
Like most of my stuff, this is a 250% print. Any smaller, especially with this one, and I'd recommend the use of the .2mm nozzle to retain all the details. Things like wiring and buttons may get lost if you don't, but overall the print should still work. Careful removing the supports to retain the wire details. The little needle-nose pliers are our friend.
There are 16 options in this print, such as:
Murica (American flag)
Canuck (Canadian flag)
Punish (Punisher logo)
Stay Frosty :)
Blank so you can add your own text in your slicer
*** Edit *** I've added a Union Jack patch to the mix per request. It's available in color 3MF and mono STL.
These can be had in both:
NVG Helmet
Non-NVG Helmet
doesn't have the mount on the helmet if you're not going to print the NVG's or the drone goggles
I've also included a colorized version like the last ones I did in a 3MF file. This version is a three-color print, but only ever two at a time to save on filament. Aside from the primary black, it gives you a skin color (select your filament to choose shade), and makes the patch and camera lens the third color.
If you don't have the ability to do multi-color prints, no worries, I always just use some paint markers off Amazon to highlight certain details. In fact, the picture features the Stay Frosty logo on the patch with some white paint marker. Makes it pop.
The last helmet set I used was based on some work by the great Humble Studios and I am grateful for his contributions and great stuff. You should check his Dummy prints out some time here.
Posting your pics is great as I love to see others enjoying my prints. Stay tuned as I'm going to add my gas mask to this one after the holidays.
*** UPDATE! *** You can get gas mask versions of these helmets now here!
