Modular Traffic Sign Stand (Paper-Replaceable System)
This is a fully modular traffic sign stand designed to be simple, reusable, and flexible.
The main idea is to use one physical stand while allowing users to change the traffic sign graphics easily using printed paper.
The system is made of three main parts:
Base
Provides stability and is shared across all sign types.
Vertical Pole
Connects the base and the sign frame. One pole works with all modules.
Sign Frame
Available in different shapes such as round, octagonal (STOP), or triangular.
The front side is designed to hold a printed paper sign.
Instead of printing a new 3D model for every traffic sign:
Users can print any sign design on paper
Insert or replace it in the sign frame
This makes the system:
Very cost-effective
Easy to customize
Ideal for education, demonstrations, or tabletop simulations
Same base and pole for all signs
Only the top sign frame changes
Graphics can be replaced without re-printing parts
Driving school or traffic education
Classroom demonstrations
Maker projects
Desk or model city setups
Custom or non-standard signs
Designed for support-free printing
Works well with PLA
Scalable to different sizes
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
