Designed in a distinct Flat / Silhouette style, this model creates a beautiful, sharp profile perfect for shelf displays or mantlepieces.

🌟 Why Individual Parts?

While this shares the aesthetic of "kit cards," I designed it as separate components.

• Cleaner Look: No ugly connection points or "sprue marks" to cut and sand.

• Perfect Edges: You get a smooth, pristine outline straight off the printer.

• Easy Printing: All parts lay flat on the bed – zero supports required.

🧵 The "Floss Hack" – Realistic Reins

To keep the design sleek and realistic, I avoided printing thick, brittle plastic reins. Instead, the model features pre-designed threading holes.

• The Secret Material: Standard Dental Floss.

• Why? It’s strong, flat, and the white color perfectly mimics leather strapping at this scale. It adds a wonderful mixed-media detail that brings the model to life.

📏 Size & Scale

Once assembled, this is a substantial display piece (roughly the volume/length of a standard 1.5L bottle). It is large enough to be a centerpiece on your holiday table or a main decoration on a bookshelf.

🛠 Assembly Instructions

1. Print: Print all files flat. No supports needed.

2. Construct: Assemble the plastic components.

   • The design uses a press-fit mechanism.

   • Note: Depending on your printer's flow rate, the fit should be tight. If it feels loose, a drop of Super Glue (CA Glue) will secure it permanently.

3. Rigging the Reins:

   • Take a length of dental floss.

   • Thread it through the designated holes in the reindeer and sleigh.

   • Pull gently to create tension and tie off or glue discreetly.

🖨 Print Settings

• Material: PLA or PETG.

• Color: Works beautifully in White (winter theme) or you can mix colors (e.g., Red Sleigh, Brown Reindeer).

• Infill: 15-20%.

• Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls recommended for stiffness.

• Layer Height: 0.2mm standard.
