Today I designed a minimal lamp shade with a clean, timeless shape. The geometry is intentionally simple, allowing the surface finish and light behavior to take center stage. I recommend printing the shade with fuzzy skin enabled on the outside to add a soft, tactile texture that diffuses light beautifully β¨.
For the best lighting effect, paint the inside white or gold. This creates a warmer atmosphere and helps direct the light downward more effectively, making the lamp both cozy and functional. The result is a subtle design piece that works well in living spaces, bedrooms, or as an accent light.
Another calm, design-focused step in my Everydays Challenge β exploring how small material and finish choices can dramatically influence mood and light π
