Since Vinci support did not want to provide me with the stabilizing plug to print it in a different color than the standard grey they sent the Replica with I decided to design my own.
I also decided to improve the design by designing the plug in a way it is not pushing on the solenoids and bending them but instead pushing on the engine itself. This way the screw cannot be overtorqued resulting in damaged solenoids.
Another improvment is that the screw was designed so it can be screwed on by Hand and without any tools.
For me the parts fit perfectly and provide enough tension on the engine so it does not move around easily anymore. If a bit of more tension is needed the inner part of the screw can be made longer 1-2 mm or a bit of tape can be placed between screw and plug.
Recommended Print Settings:
While PLA will work without issues I highly recommend to print the part in petg for more impact resistance when hit by bb's
There should be at least 4 walls or more so bb's won't damage the parts when hit directly.
Rest of the settings don't really matter but I would suggest at least 25% infill for more rigidity.
