This is a parametric screw-on bottle top funnel for bottles.   The attached stl specifically fits 36mm wide mouth HDPE or Nalgene Reagent/Chemical Bottles from Amazon.  The funnel is 60mm high above a 14mm thread.  It has ridges around the bottle top to help screw on.  

Model Characteristics

  • Screws directly onto the bottle, without wobbles or spills

  • Internal spigot directs contents into bottle

  • Fully parametric: funnel height, diameter, angle, wall thickness, and thread geometry

  • Works with reagent bottles, lab bottles, chemical containers, water bottles, etc.

  • Designed for fast, clean transfers of liquids, powders, or pellets

Parametric Customization

Open the included .f3d file in Fusion 360 and go to: Modify > Change Parameters
The parameter descriptions kind of guide you on how to make it work.  DM me if you need help.

Individual Parameters:

  • Funnel height

  • Funnel diameter

  • Funnel angle

  • Wall thickness

  • Bottle Top Thread Parameters:

    • CapOutsideDiameter: Outside diameter including the threads

    • CapThreadToThreadDistance: Measure from the outermost ridge of one thread to the next

    • CapThreadCount: Number of thread starts, usually 1-3

    • CapInsideHeight: How deep (tall) should the cap be

    • CapHole: Diameter of the inside of the funnel in the cap

Print Details

  • Pictured print: Clear Polymaker PolyLite PC

  • Layer height: 0.25 mm

  • Infill: 0%

  • Printbed: PEI coated in AquaNet

  • Supports: None required (I added 3 organic supports, but they’re optional)

  • Print time: ~2 hours on a Prusa MK4S

  • Dynamic Overhang Speeds (keep the threads clean):

The last version I posted, I inadvertently mirrored the model instead of rotating it, and it messed up the threads. 🀦
