A compact solution for fastening a TomTom Rider active base to a common 22mm diameter bracket on my wife's Honda Transalp XL 750.
Note: Due to size limitations the base is rotated by 90°. It hasn't been any problem, because the mount itself can be rotated by 90° again.

Screwdriver or allen-key suitable for your screws

Print mounting adapter
Install bracket on motorcycle
Wrap some heatshrink or bicycle inner tube around the 22m tube
Slide mounting adapter over heat shrink / bicycle tube
Mount active base with 4 screws and tighten
If base has too much play on 22mm tube, add more heat shrink / bicycle tube
Install cable of TomTom active base
