Desktop Charger for the Sonim XP5800.
The openings for the terminal contacts must be widened with a file to give the terminals free space to slide back and forward. I glewed the bottom part of terminals into place with supperglue. This way the upper part can move freely when the phone is inserted into the charger.
To fixate the wire around the terminal (after adding the solder blob) I turned the loose end, that commes through the tiny hole, around the wire above and fixated that with supperglue(see the photo).
The XP5800 has a build in battery management system so I used an old 5V 2A smartphone charger as power source. Facing the back of the phone the right contact is the positive pole and the left is the negative pole. You can verify this by removing the battery from the phone and measuring the resistance between the battery contacts and the power contacts on the back of the phone.
