My Great Northern Popcorn maker does its job and makes good popcorn. But its design was terrible from misaligned doors to razor sharp attachments under the body and so on. The handle was no exception and the black plastic portion had a really thin area around the threaded section, which has really high leverage on it as it's only 7mm deep. So I made a new handle with a much deeper hole for leverage support. You'll need to have an M8 tap. Otherwise it prints without supports on the wider flat face, and shouldn't need any tweaks. It's a tight fit, but tap to the bottom of the hole then twist the handle on until you can't go any further.
