This enclosure is designed for mounting environmental/weather sensors (e.g., Temperature, Humidity, and Air Pressure sensors) and accommodates a 3 x 7cm PCB for an auxiliary electronic module.

The sensor mounting features are specifically designed for common AliExpress modules, such as the AHT20 + BMP280 combination.

Difficulty Level: Advanced

  • Brass hot melt inserts require careful and precise installation.

  • The current balustrade mounting may need to be redesigned to suit your needs.

  • Sensor monting may require redesign

Preferred Printing Settings

  • Material: PET-G (tested)

  • Infill: 30% rectilinear

  • Perimeters: 3 (1.2mm)

  • Layer height: 0.1mm

  • Solid layers: 12 (1.2mm)

  • Supports: not required

  • Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm

  • Three M4, 250mm Stainless Steel Full Threaded Rod

  • Three M4 Stainless Steel Flat Washers

  • Three M4 stainless steel nuts

  • Ten M4 x 4 x 6mm Brass hot melt inserts

  • Three Round Head, M4 x 20mm screws

  • Four Round Head, M4 x 65mm  screws (for reference design of Balustrade mounting)

  • Screws, washers and nuts for mounting the sensor

  • Environmental/weather sensors

  • 3x7cm Weather station electronic module (e.g. ESP32-C3 SuperMini, I2C protection circuit, Mini560 PRO 5A DC-DC Step-Down Stabilized Voltage Supply Module)
