3DBenchy Christmass Tree Ornament Attachment

Are you out of Christmas tree ornaments but have a full shelf of 3DBenchies?
Worry not, you can still save Christmas by turning those little boats into colorful hanging ornaments.

This attachment is designed to snap onto the chimney of a standard 3DBenchy, allowing you to easily hang it on your Christmas tree.

Printing instructions

• Material: PETG recommended
  PETG provides better flexibility, which is important for the snap-fit mechanism. PLA may work as well, but it can crack during snapping.

• Orientation: Print the attachment lying flat for proper snapping behavior..

There are two simple ways to use the attachment:

1. Insert a printed hook through the attachment first, then snap the attachment onto the Benchy’s chimney.

2. Snap the attachment onto the chimney and tie a string or thread through it.
